Who is it for?
Senior and middle leaders in a school, which will require them to support and develop staff.
The aim of the course is to provide leaders with an outline of the skills necessary to become effective coaches and mentors in order to develop staff in schools. The course will include current research into coaching and mentoring and explore potential tensions which may arise when incorporating a coaching and mentoring model into the current performance management and professional development framework for teachers.
